It’s a question you may have been asking for a while.
You are not sure whether you are ready for a career as a yoga teacher. Is your yoga practice ‘advanced’ enough? Do you have what it takes to be a teacher?
The answer may surprise you: you actually don’t have to be a master level practitioner to become a yoga teacher. The most important quality required for teaching is your love and passion for yoga.Don’t doubt your own abilities. Why not you? You can always expand your abilities as you go.
Find peace in your calling. Release yourself from the 9-5 mentality and begin savouring a life built on the power of yoga.
About a month ago our autumn 200h Yoga Teacher Training programme in Kullu Valley, India, came to a close.
Powerful yoga teachers were created and lives were changed. It was an amazing experience for everyone.
But don’t take my word for it…
“Thank you for this amazing experience This was one of the best trips in my life and definitely the best course ever!”

Romy
In fact Romy just sent an email saying that she is already teaching yoga while on her travels in India. Here is what she says:
“I had my first yoga class three days ago! Since then I give a class everyday, and today I teach two!! I’m living in an ashram and I teach yoga to other people of my ashram on the beach of the Ganga river!!! It’s wonderful isn’t it! My students told me that they love my classes! 🙂 So I wanted to thank you again as it is for a big part because of you!”
Copycat Yoga Teachers?
Teaching yoga is about finding your voice as a human being, about expressing your very unique gifts and talents for the benefit of others. As such it should be personal and come from a deep place within – accompanied by your unique personal aroma.
No one wants to be a clone of another. Everyone wants to contribute to the world in their own unique way. We celebrate your uniqueness and aren’t here to produce carbon copies of ourselves.
We will instead teach you the principles which will allow you to be creative and to infuse your teaching with personality. We’ll give you the knowledge on how to create and sequence inspiring classes which are both safe and fun.
You will learn how to prepare lessons which are gentle, more Hatha in nature but also how to teach dynamic vinyasa classes – depending on the needs of your students and the situation. You will, over and above, be trained in how to apply modifications for different groups/abilities.
Certain things simply need to be part of a teacher’s knowledge base. For example how to ensure safe practice, how to prepare a lesson plan, in which order to sequence the asanas, contraindications for certain postures – things that have been tested and proved. It will provide you with insight into what works and what doesn’t.
We recognize the need for versatility in teaching and are here to offer you a platform to develop your own personal and authentic style so you can be highly responsive to the needs of every individual student. This will allow you to honour the inclusive nature of yoga and offer your classes to people of varying abilities and conditions.
